“Don’t go out in the dark, it’s not safe,” said Tarun Mathur to his daughter Meharr Mathur after the Nirbhaya incident had jolted the entire nation.
At that moment Meharr said something which would stir difficult feelings for Mr. Mathur, she said, “Don’t stop me, make Delhi safe!”
Hence, established in the aftermath of the horrendous Nirbhaya incident in the year 2015, its founder Mr. Tarun Mathur shaped the organization in order to make Delhi a safer place to live and thrive in.

Tarun Mathur laid the foundation of Hamari Pahchan in the year 2015, with a vision of creating a society that is built on values of equity and justice for all, he has been working rigorously towards the betterment of society.
A visionary by heart and mind, Mr. Mathur has been serving the Government of India in the aviation department for more than a decade. He has also represented India in a number of foreign nations as a professional chess player.
Anjli Mathur is a young enthusiast with pure love for society. She started her chain of kindness by buying medicines for her house help's mother.
She believes that the greatest joy in life is achieved by ‘Giving’. To provide a platform for the hidden talent of our country, she also runs a production house called Galaxies Production.
Subhash Goel, the proprietor of the Tushar publications, is the Vice President of our NGO, Hamari Pahchan. Additionally, he is the President of the FEPI.
To his credit, he has been actively involved and supported in a number of social and charitable clubs in the national capital, Delhi, such as the Rajasthan Club. Recently, he has also established the AHAS Club as General Secretary, with the aim of promoting social causes in Delhi-NCR.
